1. Will you come
and follow me
if I but call your name?
Will you go
where you don’t know
and never be the same?
Will you let
my love be shown,
will you let
my name be known,
will you let
my life be grown in you
and you in me?
2. Will you leave
yourself behind
if I but call your name?
Will you care
for cruel and kind
and never be the same?
Will you risk
the hostile stare
should your life
attract or scare?
Will you let
me answer prayer in you
and you in me?
3. Will you let
the blinded see
if I but call your name?
Will you set
the prisoners free
and never be the same?
Will you kiss
the leper clean,
and do such
as this unseen,
and admit to
what I mean in you
and you in me?
4. Will you love
the “you” you hide
if I but call your name?
Will you quell
the fear inside
and never be the same?
Will you use the
faith you’ve found
to reshape the
world around,
through my sight and
touch and sound in you
and you in me?
5. Lord, your summons
echoes true
when you but
call my name.
Let me turn
and follow you
and never be the same.
In your company I’ll go
where your love
and footsteps show.
Thus I’ll move
and live and grow in you
and you in me.

Hymn of Promise
UMH #707
WORDS: Natalie Sleeth, 1986
© 1986 Hope Publishing Co.
1. In the bulb
there is a flower;
in the seed, an apple tree;
in cocoons,
a hidden promise:
butterflies will soon be free!
In the cold
and snow of winter
there’s a spring
that waits to be,
unrevealed until its season,
something God alone can see.
2. There’s a song
in every silence,
seeking word and melody;
there’s a dawn
in every darkness,
bringing hope to you and me.
From the past
will come the future;
what it holds,
a mystery,
unrevealed until its season,
something God alone can see.
3. In the end
is our beginning;
in our time, infinity;
in our doubt
there is believing;
in our life, eternity.
In our death,
a resurrection;
at the last, a victory,
unrevealed until its season,
something God alone can see.

Prayer Song
Take My Life and Let It Be
vs. 1 UMH #399
WORDS: Frances R. Havergal, 1873 (Rom. 12:1)
1. Take my life, and let it be
consecrated, Lord, to Thee.
Take my moments
and my days;
let them flow
in ceaseless praise.
Take my hands,
and let them move
at the impulse of Thy love.
Take my feet,
and let them be
swift and beautiful for Thee.
Pastoral, Silent and The Lord’s Prayer
Rev. David Petty
Our Father
who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done
on earth
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day
our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
Lead us not
into temptation
but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom,
and the Power
and the Glory forever.
Amen

Vs. 2 UMH #399
WORDS: Frances R. Havergal, 1873 (Rom. 12:1)
2. Take my voice,
and let me sing
always, only, for my King.
Take my lips,
and let them be
filled with messages from Thee.
Take my silver
and my gold;
not a mite would I withhold.
Take my intellect, and use
every power as
Thou shalt choose.

Here I Am, Lord
UMH #593
WORDS: Dan Schutte, 1981 (Is. 6:8)
© 1981, 1983, 1989 Daniel L. Schutte and NALR
1. I, the Lord of sea and sky,
I have heard my people cry.
All who dwell in
dark and sin
my hand will save.
I who made the
stars of night,
I will make their
darkness bright.
Who will bear my
light to them?
Whom shall I send?
Refrain
Here I am, Lord.
Is it I, Lord?
I have heard You
calling in the night.
I will go, Lord,
if You lead me.
I will hold
Your people in my heart.
2. I, the Lord of
snow and rain,
I have borne
my people’s pain.
I have wept for
love of them.
They turn away.
I will break
their hearts of stone,
give them hearts
for love alone.
I will speak my
word to them.
Whom shall I send?
Refrain
Here I am, Lord.
Is it I, Lord?
I have heard you
calling in the night.
I will go, Lord,
if you lead me.
I will hold
your people in my heart.
3. I, the Lord
of wind and flame,
I will tend the
poor and lame,
I will set a feast for them.
My hand will save.
Finest bread
I will provide
till their hearts
are satisfied.
I will give my life to them.
Whom shall I send?
Refrain
Here I am, Lord.
Is it I, Lord?
I have heard you
calling in the night.
I will go, Lord,
if you lead me.
I will hold
your people in my heart.
